First of all I would like to enumerate some tips for blogging with Adsense , This would be the main theme of this blog ,
1-GENUINE CONTENT is the clue , you can get high ranks and good search engine results with genuine content . Search engines are the best source of traffic and so the best source of revenue with adsense.
2-Never start a blog just for adsense , write about what you like , blogging or making a site just for Adsense get you bad ranks and search results , it is called MFA site , it is hated by google and visitors , just write about what you love or like to write about and try to be unique .
3-Better to write with Blogger.
4-Imagine that you are a visitor to your blog , what would you like , make it good looking and ask your friends about their opinion.
5-Update your blog and add new posts at least weekly .
6-Concentrate on organising and proper arrangement.
7-After you made a good genuine blog with proper amount of content , submit your blog to high ranked directories and high ranked social bookmarking sites as Digg.com , also to search engines and RSS sites.
8-Creat your blog site map and submit it to google and yahoo.
9-After you have done all this subscribe with Adsense.
10-Don’t quit easly … be patient and most sites and blogs get high traffic by aging , and always remember visitors = revenue.
11-Change your adsense colors and placement from time to time and try to fix to the highest revenue placements , in my opinion I don’t think that this is effective but a lot of publishers think so . Don’t ask someone to tell you about the best colors or formates , try them by yourself.
Good Luck ,
they’ve been beta testing this for a lil while but I think they’ve just released it network wide.
Announcing Video Units
We’re excited to announce video units, a new way for publishers to enrich their sites with premium, relevant video content on an embedded YouTube player. We know one of your top goals is to enhance your users’ experience, so video units allow you to choose which video categories to target to your site and which to exclude, as well as to customize the color scheme and layout of the YouTube player. Plus, the ads provided with the videos are highly targeted and non-intrusive. If you’re looking to monetize and enrich your site with premium video content, learn more about video units or simply log in to your account to get started.
google has been on a real losing streak lately when it comes to creating things that make money.
you can also find clickable adsense text ads playing within the video window at revver.com, it’s the exact same thing, but the payout for revver affiliates is something like only 20%? pretty dismal, but if you can find content for your niche, it might be worth checking out.
You may have read my earlier article about AdSense and started to use it, or you use AdSense anyway but this guide will teach you how to get a higher CTR (Click Through Rate) on your website.
CTR is basically how many people click on your ads, so a higher CTR will bring you more earnings. Some sites have a low CTR, this is just a fact. It is know that forums have a low CTR because people want to talk, interact and post but blogs have a high CTR because the visitors want to read and learn. (more…)
First, go to your adsense reports and see whats your ctr.
if its a website and you have 3%= very low 10%=regular 15%=a good optimized website.
if its a blog, its a little different, cause on blogs the ctr gets down. 2%= very low 5%=regular 10%= a good optimized blog.
So, lets say you are around 4% CTR. lets get it up!
first, take note on what is your ctr the day you begin. in one week, check again and see the results.
<h2>DONT make your ads look like ADS!</h2>
well, that must sound weird, but its true, people dont visit your site for view ads, they are looking for the content. if you make your ads with borders, images, people will see that links like banners, and most of them of course will not click them.
The same happens to ads that are at the top, bottom, or far from the content, so keep this in mind.
<h2>HERE ARE SOME TIPS THAT I USED TO UP MY CTR:</h2>
1.-use text ads. not images.when you are making your adsense ad, choose the option: only text ads. image ads pay lower and are not very clickable.
2.-very low ctr? If your Ctr is very low, try to use blue link colors in all your site:<span class=”style1″> BLUE COLOR: </span>#00FFFF and also on adsense ads. use the same border as the background color, and use the same background adsense color as the same adsense color of your site. remember that the best background for article themes is the white, but if you have a website of games, or design, its better other color. A lot of people would like to know the success AdSense money formula. The simple formula below is one fundamental formula that you should know.
Money = sum ( [Price Per Click] X [Number of Click] )
Logically speaking, if you want to make more money, you have to either increase the number of clicks or the price per click. If you do one or the other you can make more money from the program.
Make More AdSense Money By Boosting the Number Of Click
Increase the number of clicks on your ads is the most obvious strategy that will make more money for you. There are two ways you can boost the number of click:
1. Getting more traffic for your web site,
2. Make your ads more clickable and position them at the right place.
Getting traffic takes time and efforts. It‘s also a lot of hard work. There are several techniques that you can use to generate more traffic to your web site and hence make more AdSense money. These techniques are: (more…)
Post Adsense ads them on text rich pages and make sure that Adsense had a bunch of keywords to work with. Getting Higher paying keywords is better of course.
Learn how to get rid of public service ads, which pay you nothing for your efforts.
Avoid titles like the approved ‘Sponsored Links’ and ‘Advertisements’ above the Adsense ads. Why do you want to tell the world they are ads when google already puts ‘Ads by Gooooogle’ with them. These two terms are the only ones allowed by Google TOS. Any other terms will get your account terminated. (more…)
Google AdSense is the main source of income for several bloggers looking to earn money through blogging. However many earn less from it due to their poorly positioned Ads.
Here are some tips to improve your AdSense earnings by positioning your Ads well on your blog:
On Single pages, place a Large Rectangle (336×280) just above the content so that your readers will notice them. The large rectangle is the best performing AdSense format as they are wide.
For longer entries, try placing a blended Medium Rectangle (300 x 250) into your post using AdSense Deluxe. I would recommend you use a service like CrazyEgg to find out the most clicked spot on your blog post and place your Ad right next to it.
A Banner (468 x 60) just before your comment box is also a good place to put your Ads as your readers may notice them when they try to comment……. (more…)
So you want to start an online business. You have surfed the web, read some blogs and have found that lots of people are making some decent mullah. But you are frustrated due to the lack of any new idea. Don’t worry. There are still many ideas that you can implement using a little money, lots of efforts, and some persistency.
1. Think about your hobby. What you would like to do in your spare time? May be you like to go hunting, or scuba diving. May be you want to make dolls. List some of the annoyances and inconveniences you encounter while pursuing your hobby. Search in Google to find solutions to your problems and then write a small e-book. Sell the e-book using clickbank dot com.
2. If you are an artist, crafter, or designer, check out etsy dot com. You create your own shop by signing up for free. Listing an item with photos cost 0.20 cents. The selling fee is 3.5% of the final sale price. You can accept payment through PayPal.
3. Start a blog. But don’t start a blog on making money. Find your niche and sign up for free at Blogger to create your blog. You need to select a name for your blog. Select the name of your blog carefully. Write down half a dozen names that tell something about your blog topic. Check out those names using the overture keyword selector tool for search popularity. Use a name that people search at least more than a thousand times every month. (more…)
Google Inc. wants to become as influential in the mobile market as it is on the Internet _ and the online search leader thinks it can do that without sticking its prized brand on a cell phone. The Mountain View-based company provided the first glimpse at its mobile ambitions Monday with the announcement of a free software package scheduled to hit the market during the second half of next year.
The system, which will control an untold number of cell phones, is designed to unify the developers of mobile applications around a common platform that makes it easier and more enticing to surf the Web on cell phones. The new package is called “Android” in tribute to a Silicon Valley startup that Google acquired two years ago to steer its secretive project.
Google is hoping Android opens another lucrative channel for peddling ads and services to people when they’re away from their personal computers, supplementing the revenue already pouring into the company from Internet advertising.
Contrary to reports that surfaced during months of breathless speculation, Google isn’t making cell phones, nor does it plan to put its name on the devices equipped with its software. Instead, it will work with four manufacturers and 29 other companies that have formed the Open Handset Alliance to help launch Google’s mobile software.
But Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt hinted the company might eventually make its own phone powered by the new software.
“We don’t want to foreclose any options in the future,” Schmidt told reporters during a Monday conference call.
Google has revealed new feature in Adsense, which is called Manage Ads.
The new feature lets you change ad block options from your Adsense account without touching ad code in your page code.
Here is a screen shot:
From official Adsense Blog:
We’re very excited to let you know about an upcoming feature that lets you easily manage your ad units from within your AdSense account. It isn’t live yet, but here’s a sneak peek so you’ll know what to expect in the coming weeks. (We know many of you have been eagerly anticipating its arrival.)
This new ad management feature means that your ad unit settings (such as colors and channels) for new AdSense for content ad units will be saved in your AdSense account every time you generate ad code. Then, if you’d like to change any of these settings in the future, all you do is make the update within your account — you’ll no longer need to manually replace the ad code on all of your pages. For instance, you can quickly change the borders of all your 300×250 medium rectangles from red to blue with just a few mouse clicks. Fancy! We hope that this new feature will help you save time and will simplify the process of optimizing your ad units.
